sbp sonne was commissioned to analyse the Axone Duo 1 P PV tracker designed by PV Hardware for its load-bearing capacity and functionality for the Insua project in Portugal.
For this purpose, sbp sonne prepared reference calculations of the global system, carried out component analyses and checked details. The load approaches, based on the pressure coefficients, and the dynamic behaviour were evaluated. The applicability of the stow strategy and its susceptibility to aeroelastic instability were also analysed. The testing was carried out in accordance with the tried and tested German testing system, which offers reliable control and guarantees independence by applying the dual control principle.
