VitiCULT-PVmobil

The aim of the project is to develop and test for the first time an aesthetically pleasing, mobile PV system for use in vineyards (Viti PV system), which can be set up and dismantled with little effort and which can be used by winegrowers wherever the need for protection and shade is particularly high. In addition, the PV modules are movable and can therefore be adapted to local requirements. The existing stakes are used to support the boxes. The low weight of the construction contributes to easy assembly and dismantling.
VitiCULT-PVmobil supports the objectives of viticulture while at the same time taking climate change and the energy transition into account. Due to climate change, there are increasing problems in viticulture in many locations, such as premature ripening, excessive solar radiation, the resulting increased evaporation, increased pest infestation, etc.
The chosen solution with retractable modules is a lightweight construction, so the modules do not have to withstand high wind loads.
